Traffic

After several months of blogging, I have tried almost anything and everyting I came across to get my blog up and noticed by search engines and visitors. I realised that while content is important, driving traffic to the blog is CRITICAL. You can have fantastic contents on yoru blog but limited traffic, then the whole purpose of having a blog is lost.

So, I spend much time to look for software, websites that help to drive traffic though I also look for ideas for my contents. I have painfully submit my blog to search engines and well as search engine submissions, social networkings such as facebook, tweeters, squidoo, digg, stumbleupon,socialmatic, link excahnge etc etc. Honestly, I do not know which works an dwhich don’t work. I merely do all these manual submisions almost every two or three days while tied to keep up the freshness of my posts.

Thank god, I could see tremendous improvement to my blog ranking, from no nowhere in the first week, then I saw it on page 8, then improved to page 5, and moved up to page 2 on 15-Sep-09
